For many years, service charges have been a challenge for housing providers. Grappling with the changing demands of customers, interpreting leases, meeting legislative requirements, and maximising recovery... all require very different skills. It is understandable that organisations have struggled to tackle the problem, too often being put in the ‘too hard to do’ box. 

At Ad Esse, we have been working in the social housing sector since 2010 to address the problem of service charges, but in recent years the support required called for a more specialist knowledge of lease and legislation, and so in 2022, Ad Esse Service Charges was born.

Since then, we have been helping the sector tackle the problem of service charges and aspiring to create service charge excellence everywhere we go.
